Concert, Symphonic Bands Rated Superior At State Festival
The Concert and Symphonic Bands traveled to Kirkwood High School on March 15 for the annual State Band Festival. Both bands earned a superior "I" rating for their performances which included ratings by three judges for prepared music and a rating by one judge for sight-reading. EHS was one of only two schools to earn "I" ratings for both Concert and Symphonic Band. Both bands earned "I" ratings from all three judges for their prepared music, an accomplishment unmatched by the other schools in attendance. Congratulations to both groups for your achievements!

Full Symphonic Orchestra Gets A “I”
On March 10, members of the Symphonic Band joined forces with the Symphonic Orchestra once again to field a full orchestra for the State Orchestra Festival. They earned three “I” ratings for their prepared music and a “I” rating on the sight reading. Great job!
