The Eureka High School Concert Band meets 5th hour during the 2nd through 4th quarters each year. Members include 9th through 12th grade students. The Concert Band studies and performs standard high school band literature. Performances each year include the Winter Concert, the EHS Music In Our Schools Concert, State Band Festival sponsored by MSHSAA, and the Spring Concert. Members are eligible for the All-Suburban Band, the Rockwood All-District Honors Band, SLSMEA Solo & Ensemble Festival, and EHS Jazz Band.
Symphonic Band
The Eureka High School Symphonic Band is an auditioned ensemble made up of 9th through 12th grade students. They rehearse 5th hour during the 2nd quarter, and 7th hour during the 3rd and 4th quarters. The Symphonic Band studies and performs advanced literature for band and wind ensemble. Performances each year include the Winter Concert, the LaSalle Springs Music In Our Schools Concert, the EHS Music In Our Schools Concert, State Band Festival sponsored by MSHSAA, and the Spring Concert. Members are eligible for the All-Suburban Band, the Rockwood All-District Honors Band, SLSMEA Solo & Ensemble Festival, and EHS Jazz Bands. Top chairs in the Symphonic Band are featured as members of the Eureka High School Symphonic Orchestra which rehearses during 7th hour in the spring in preparation for the State Orchestra Festival.
