CConcert Band

The Eureka High School Concert Band meets 4th hour during the second semester. Members include 9th-12th grade students. The Concert Band studies and performs standard high school band literature in the grades 2-3 range. Performances each year include the Winter Concert, the EHS Festival Concert, State Band Festival sponsored by MSHSAA, and the Spring Concert. Members are eligible for the All-Suburban Band, the Rockwood All-District Honors Band, SLSMEA Solo & Ensemble Festival, and EHS Jazz Band.

Symphonic Winds

The Eureka High School Symphonic Winds meets 5th hour during the second semester. Members include 9th through 12th grade students. The Symphonic Winds studies and performs standard high school band literature in the grades 3-4 range. Performances each year include the Winter Concert, the EHS Festival Concert, State Band Festival sponsored by MSHSAA, and the Spring Concert. Members are eligible for the All-Suburban Band, the Rockwood All-District Honors Band, SLSMEA Solo & Ensemble Festival, and EHS Jazz Band.

Symphonic Band

The Eureka High School Symphonic Band is an auditioned ensemble made up of 9th through 12th grade students. The Symphonic Band studies and performs advanced literature for band and wind ensemble in the grades 4-6 range. Performances each year include the Winter Concert, the EHS Festival Concert, State Band Festival sponsored by MSHSAA, and the Spring Concert. Members are eligible for the All-Suburban Band, the Rockwood All-District Honors Band, SLSMEA Solo & Ensemble Festival, and EHS Jazz Bands. The Symphonic Band is also part of the Eureka High School Symphony Orchestra which rehearses during 7th hour in the spring in preparation for the State Orchestra Festival and EHS Commencement Exercises. The Symphonic Band was featured at the 2009 MMEA convention and as part of the Symphony Orchestra at the 2011 MMEA convention.
